History

Air-Val International is a family-owned company founded in 1979 in Barcelona by Don Francisco García Hernández. Today, the company has over 230 employees across its corporate headquarters in Madrid, its manufacturing plant in Barcelona, and its subsidiary in Florence, Italy.

With a portfolio of more than 400 fragrance and personal care products for children, teenagers, and adults, Air-Val International operates in over 90 countries. Over the years, the company has received professional recognition both nationally and internationally for its innovation and expertise in the industry.

From Dream to Fragrance

Since 1979, Air-Val International has been creating and formulating fragrances based on various factors, such as the consumer’s age and gender, brand attributes and characters, as well as current trends. Our product range is constantly renewed with innovative designs that captivate the little ones. We carefully oversee every stage of the perfume manufacturing process, from conceptualization and fragrance design to material selection, production, communication, and global commercialization. We believe this is the best way to add value at every step and adapt each product to the needs of different international markets.

Facilities

Air-Val International’s facilities in Spain are in constant expansion and technological innovation. Currently, we have over 12,000 m² of factory space, laboratory, warehouse, and offices in Gavà. Our processing and packaging plant is equipped with advanced technology, including automatic filling machines, tube sealing, cellophane wrapping, labeling, and shrink wrapping. Thanks to this internal growth, we optimize the value chain, ensuring efficiency, compliance with quality controls, and the proper execution of each manufacturing process. Additionally, our factory is certified with the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standard ISO 22716.

Nuria García Foundation

Altruism, solidarity, responsibility, and generosity are the values that inspired the creation of our foundation, established in memory of Nuria García. Our mission and objectives focus on improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable children worldwide. Committed to childhood, we provide ongoing support to thousands of at-risk children in key areas such as health, education, nutrition, and social and professional integration, both in Spain and in countries across Latin America, Asia, and Africa. True to its motto, “We work for the children of the world”, Air-Val International supports the Foundation’s work through funding, the creation of charitable products, and active participation in its initiatives.
